AN UNCONVENTIONAL SCHOOL OF HUMAN DEVELOPMENT ✳

THE SCHOOL
OF UNLEARNING.

What if education did more than fill your head? What if it taught you how to examine the stories already living there?

Eight rooms. Eight different instruments for thinking. No grades, no personality labels, and no requirement to agree with the school.

THE FOUNDING ARGUMENT / 001

You are allowed
to update.

A belief can once have been useful and later become too small. A metric can be informative without capturing a whole person. A convincing story can be true without being typical.

This is a fictional institution with a serious curriculum: predict, perturb, compare, revise, transfer. The school supplies constructed scenarios. You supply the judgment. Keeping your original view is allowed if the evidence warrants it.

Read the learning contract ↗

YOUR LEARNING CONTRACT

A method, not an ideology.

01 / PREDICT

Put a claim on the table. Or start without sharing a personal belief.

02 / PERTURB

Change a real parameter, uncover a source, or choose a response.

03 / COMPARE

Inspect what changed, what did not, and which parts are uncertain.

04 / REVISE

Keep, qualify, reject, or suspend your view. The notebook stays yours.

No path is compulsory. These studios work in any order. Each uses a different interaction—not eight copies of the same quiz.

THE FIELD NOTEBOOK / PRIVATE TO THIS BROWSER

A record of
honest revisions.

You are not building a performance profile. You're collecting questions worth keeping.

FACULTY OFFICE / OPEN ACCESS

A school for
the unfinished.

Read before facilitating. Use critical inquiry, not forced confession.

Read the facilitator guide ↗

The ethics of this classroom.

Learning is not obedience to the most confident speaker. Good facilitation protects disagreement, distinguishes constructed demonstrations from real-world causal evidence, and makes uncertainty respectable.

How should educators use the rooms?

Ask for a prediction; allow learners to opt out of personal disclosure. Let small groups compare rival explanations. Name evidence limits explicitly. Invite a transfer question outside the original scenario. Each room has a dedicated lesson sheet in the ZIP curriculum.

Is the school scientifically validated?

No. Specific principles are informed by learning science, but these eight original interactions have not been empirically evaluated as educational interventions. Simulation numbers are fictional and illustrative, not estimates of real-world effect sizes.

What data does the site collect?

No accounts, analytics, trackers, remote API calls or advertising scripts are embedded. The notebook uses browser storage when available. You can export, import or delete it. The school itself does not receive your entries.

What is unlearning not?

It is not rejecting expertise, treating all claims as equally sound, compulsory self-disclosure, or believing everything is relative. A warranted belief may survive interrogation.

✳ WELCOME / ORIENTATION

THIS IS NOT A COURSE CERTIFICATE

Welcome to the
beautiful problem
of being wrong.

This is a playable gallery of eight fictional experiments. Predict an outcome, change something, and look at the consequence. Then decide whether to keep, revise, or suspend your view.

There are no grades. The laboratory models are illustrative, not scientific measurements of you or the world. Your written notes remain on this device unless you export them.

Erase this notebook?

This deletes the saved studio reflections on this browser. Export first if you want a copy. This cannot be undone here.
